Would you like to stay a while and listen to a tale?

 This very specific one narrates the journey of two rather peculiar individuals. Two which, despite disliking each other, have to work together to escape an enchanted forest, to find out why they've been trapped there and to unveil its secrets. 

This, my friend, is the Tale of the Woods.

What is Tale of The Woods?

"Tale of The Woods" is the first project of our Indie Studio: Twilight Games

This game is planned to be a platformer with two protagonists:

Hubert, the Demi-frog

Hubert has been trapped in the woods for longer then Morgan, and as such he will guide him through at the best of his capabilities

and Morgan, the Elf

The game starts with morgan having just entered these woods by his own will, to demonstrate there was nothing in the woods he couldn't confront alone.

why this mentality? well, morgan was a prodigy at his collage, who specilized in magical arts. and so, with his bloated ego, marched into the woods, without knowing the journey that awaited him there...

We plan to let you experience their journey through this enchanted forest, its ancient traps, tricks and their way towards an exit, together.

Inspirations

Tale of The Woods is healy inspired both by over the garden wall and studio ghibli in terms of graphics, and in gameplay it takes a lot after hollow knight.

The concept of the game itself is instead inspired from old fairy tales, of folk who get in all manners of fairy trouble, and how they try to get out of whatever sticky situation they are in, always with a "moral" or messagge behind the story itself, often ending with the character having changed for the better.

When will it release?

We... have honestly no idea. what we do know is, before making the full on game we, will make a free demo.
